There are a lot of fantastic car’s and car manufacturers out there today, but very few of them can ever come close to offering what the BMW offers. With that being said, what will be following here is a look at the top five BMW cars ever created, feel free to argue if your favorite model of BMW is not on the list. So, without further ado, lets start with the top of the line BMW, which is a family car…if you can believe that.

#1: Series M Coupe

You may be reading this list right now and going through your mind after checking out the first car on the list is this…why is a family car on the list of the best? Well, this car cannot be restricted because its a family model because the Series M Coupe has such awesome features as 3.0 liter twin turbo engine, a direct inject straight 6, 355 horsepower and it was a six speed manual as well, so now you can see why this model was number one on our list here.

#2: 2002 tii

Although this model of BMW first about nearly half a century ago, it is the 2002 model that finds its way onto this list. This more modern version of a classic BMW is on this list because it was a direct injection, 130 horsepower 2.0 liter 4 engine, this model was also considered by many to be the first in the new breed of luxury sport sedan and with good reason.

#3: M1

This is the first actual classic car on the list and it is on this list for a variety of reasons, but the biggest reason may be due to its overall design, which still stands out to this day as the best in the business. Also, just to throw a little statistics your way, this vehicle featured a 277 horsepower engine that topped out at a speed of 161 miles per hour, which is amazingly fast for a car of any kind.

#4: Z8 Roadster

This model of car is widely considered to be the greatest example of the mixing of a modern BMW with the classic BMW. This model of car was also one of the most powerful, with a 400 horsepower, 4.9 liter V8 engine, which means that your Z8 Roadster will fly down the road at amazing speeds.

#5: E39 M5
This is the final car on our top five list, but it is also another car that is designed with the mixture of classic BMW’s and modern BMW’s in mind. The car has some amazing power under the hood as well, with a 400 horsepower V8 engine, so speed is never going to be a problem with this luxury machine.
